J  Recruiting – Navarro school will merge w/ours

J  Sept. 10th, 6:30 Rally Night, volunteers needed – Natalie, Torri, JD will be there, who else?

J  Rally Night – Boy Scout Troup 159 (?) will help out w/the younger boys.  Parent Orientation will be Sept 14 6:30, this night will be to set up the dens, who will be leaders, list of boys, go over rules, etc.

J  Need to put posters/flyers up on bulletion boards @ Cameron Ranch (Jill Philipello – contact), 4 Corners, & other places for getting our pack name out there to the community – Get w/Natalie for flyers/posters – Put out this week once we get flyers/posters

J  Talk w/current boys to get them to invite friends from school. If a boy gets a friend to commit then he will get a prize

J  $1200 in checking account at this time – Susan is treasurer

J  Annual Dues - $30 for returning    $35 for new boys (this fee is for the Boyslife magazine & BSA fee): Each boy gets a free tshirt both new & returning boys if tshirt is needed: $10/shirt for parents & siblings

J  PopCorn Sales – The goal for this year is for each boy to sell at least $200 w/the incentive that they will get a free game of bowling, the pack will pay for. Parents & siblings will have to be paid for separately. The boy will have to come to the night established to claim their prize. The prizes for 1st ($20), 2nd ($15) and 3rd ($10) still stands.

J  Popcorn Sales start Sept 28 & ends Nov 2 – Must have all the money & order forms turned in on Nov 2nd ---- Ingrid, Nickie & Torri will be co-chairs for this event

J  Water gun wars will take place Oct 4th at 4pm at Austins Colony – Torri/JD will be looking for different parks to have this at ---will get w/Natalie about this soon

J  Cub N Family Oct 17th & 18th @ Caldwell Airport – Ingrid will do dinner list at a later date

J  No Halloween party this year, just a pack celebration

J  Space Derby will take place Nov 30th – all kids will need to purchase their own kits – Wes will set up the track & get it ready – will need someone to do the racing brackets – maybe get some rules out on how to race?? Like w/the Pinewood Derby?

J  Nov 6th Bowling for the boys that sold over $200 in popcorn – time will come later

J  Webelos Woods – get w/Natalie on this info for those that will be going

J  Dec 5 – Belt Loop University – a day that focuses on belt loops for the boys – further info will be coming (time, local, etc.)

J  BCS Xmas Parade – tentatively scheduled at this time

J  Pack Xmas Party – Dec 14th @ Bonham School, possibly catered for free from Buppy’s – JD will handle: if not pack will purchase Ham & side dishes will be brought along w/drinks (50-75 people attending): Dens can exchange presents if they want to

J  Pinewood Derby – Jan 30 around 2pm – local to be determined – Sherry will handle local, derby directions               2pm will be weigh in                   3pm will start race                     If the local doesn’t work, then we will hold it on Monday 25th at 6:30pm

J  Prizes like last year – 1st place den, 1st place overall, Best design and participation ribbons

J  Scouting for Food – Starts Jan 30th ends Feb 6th, Start @ Bonham Park walk the area then pick up in the same area

J  Feb 22th Blue & Gold Banquet – catered, need to get prices & menu, Webelos #2 will plan it; charge $5 per plate, boys will eat free – parents/siblings will be charged

J  April 10th Pushmobile – must have helmets, long pants, etc. Local to be determined

J  Pack Campout & Raingutter Regatta – April 24th & 25th, dinner will be w/the pack, lunch & breakfast will be on your own. Bring your own drinks and tents. Will get back on a dinner list

J  Bridging Ceremony – May 16th
